Lighthouse security arrangements 

Enter Lighthouse via stage door in

Seldown Lane

(located at rear of building on Café side).  In order to satisfy Health & Safety requirements, personnel may be requested to sign in and out at the stage door.

 

1.30pm           singers to arrive and locate rest rooms and Concert Hall

1.40pm           choir to be ready for seating in auditorium

1.50pm           orchestra seating

2.00pm           rehearsal begins

4.00pm           approximate end of choir rehearsal

 

4.00pm           SOLOISTS & ORCHESTRA - choir please leave platform quickly and

                        quietly so as not to interrupt ongoing rehearsal        

5.30pm           approximate end of orchestral rehearsal

 

Vacate stage – use rest room between rehearsal and performance

 

7.10pm           line up back stage

7.20pm           move onto platform

 

There will be a 5 minute presentation from Water Aid before the concert starts and when choir and orchestra are seated.

 

Stand when conductor and soloists move onto stage

Sit when signalled by conductor

 

·         Choir to leave platform for the interval

·         Line up (as before concert) 5 minutes before 2^nd half begins

 

                                         Programmes available - Cost £1.00

·         After concert—return music as directed by each choir

·         Remember to take all belonging home with you.

Platform Etiquette

 

No food or drink on the platform other than a discreet bottle of water if necessary

Sit as still as comfortable – no turning round or calling to other members of the choir.

 Never applaud when standing
